Got the Radu Helmet. It''s pretty nice.

Already have boots that should work.

I may get buy another shirt that was suggested for a closer color.

I plan on making a holster as close as I can tell from screen grabs and other sources. I have a couple different cuts of leather I had collected for holsters. One of them should be good.

Think I am going to start out with the basic BDU shirt vest and mod it later into the multi pocket version. Think I will buy two BDU shirts so i have enough material to add all the different pockets later.

Can you post some more photos of the helmet from different angles? I don't think I have seen a build from Radu before...

How does everyone put there belt together. I have the belt blank and the buckle but am not sure if I should use snaps or how many and on what side? I want to make it as close as possible of course. In the movie stills, I can not see any snaps on the belts.

For my OT vest, I was able to do all of my back pockets from the sleeve material.

Full version of vest is coming along nicely. My seamstress and I agreed on some the pocket placement and she got to work last week or so.

I decided I want to build the simple version as well since I ended up with an extra BDU shirt that was a different material (ripstop) That way if i am ina crowd of RFTs I can match better.

Went with the Seafarer brand shirt. It has a nice dark grey like color with blue. The DSCP Quarterdeck are all right but these are more grey/blue than light blue.

I like that color! On the actual shirt worn in ANH, the is a horizontal seam across the front above the belt.

having three Seafarers and a Quarterdeck shirt in my stash I prefer the color of the Seafarer.

For the sake of the judges can you take your photos outside? the flash and dark background are really killing all details on the costume. We see a lot and can only squint and guess,,,and then ask for new photos outside.

The color will change quite a bit when taken outside.

yeah I always have better submission photos taken by someone else with a better camera or what ever. Mine does not work outside. Can't see whats on screen. I do not own a camera phone. I have a lot of shadow around me outside anyway. I always get submission photos done at a troop cause I have no other way of doing it.

The new standards and photos of the screen used show it going armhole to armhole, and the top edge starts just above the middle of the armhole when worn.

The pocket you have here is way too small. .
