Ok Here is the full on details for NekoCon

We had a small foul up on programming this year but Neko is trying ot at least give us our usual intro panel

NOW UPDATES ON THE CON

NO FREE BADGES

They are no longer giving complimentary badges to clubs even for the people sitting at the table, they will give badges for programming this year for next years convention, so we may get 2 for NEXT YEAR.

THERE ARE CHANGES TO THEIR POLICIES THAT I AM INQUIRING ABOUT WILL POST ONCE I UNDERSTAND THEM!

For now though to be safe here are some guidelines:

NO METAL PROPS AT THE TABLE

I DO NOT KNOW IF THIS INCLUDES LIGHTSABERS, SO MAY WANT TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY

We're Only Allowed one table so my smaller table I bring to give us more space may not be tolerated, I will still bring it just in case

Any other updates I will let you know ASAP!

I will be there with the table and if anyone can come help man it that would be appreciated!

So are there any updates for this event? Im trying to evaluate my ability to attend

At the moment we have 2 panels one Friday evening one Sunday afternoon

We have a table in club row, I would recommend leaving all metal props in your vehicle before bringing them in

I'm attempting to confirm that metal props are not allowed

Aside from that no further updates, and no others have mentioned they are coming

Also once again, there aren't any badges for the table

We got 1 for programming this year, next year we will will get 1 badge per panel we submit that gets onto the schedule.

I assume that we will still have to pay full price even if we're planning to help you at the table correct?

yeah unfortunately they killed badges for fan club tables this year, next year we can get 1 badge for every panel we submit though.

so we may have to start developing our panels a bit more

Update on the weapons policy they are letting me have some sabers on the table for display

if you wish to attempt to bring yours for your costume, be prepared to take it back to the car if they refuse
