Well, are you asking if these jackets are acceptable for an RL costume?

I don't think so. Remember, these are just consumer items that have a definite take on the movie jackets but I doubt that they will be good enough for an actual costume piece..

but I could be wrong...Smile

Well...it's the wrong color... Cool

These are super-cool, but I wouldn't go for one of these for RL approval. They would need a lot of modifying (zippers removed, logos, removed, etc.)

They're also limited run--only 1,980 or each, so I'm guessing they're going to be expensive. The Rogue One jackets they did last year were anywhere from $600.00-$1,000.00 after market. For much less, you could get something far more accurate.

As just a collectible item to wear around though, they're really cool!!

I appreciate the fact that they put their 'columbia' logos in places which would be covered by rank-banges and wrist-communicators.

but it seems the cut is wrong for the Lei jacket (the waist is to low); the shoulders look wrong on Luke.

Hans look's very close. the pockets seem to be in the right places. at first glance, I think this is the only one which might pass RL standards (?)

I bought the Leia version for my daughter to wear as her daily jacket.
they had a countdown-to-order on the site -- they sold out in 3 minutes Neutral
I was lucky to get one in her size.

Christmas win. Cool

Regarding these jackets...I read a report that all three jackets had sold out within 7 minutes of launch!!!

And, just as fast, they started appearing on ebay with an average price of $800 each or more!!! Amazing!!
