I've a 7 3/8 head too. I had one of these lids delivered yesterday and I have no problem with the fit. It's quite snug to pull down into place but seems OK once on.

I'm going to strip and repaint mine, replacing the plastic mic boom and pretty clunky left rear rectangular tube greeb. The cheek greeb will be raised outward and the onion filled for a custom paint scheme.

Goes the drilled greeb grille in the right rear need anything doing apart from painting?

Anyone seen a pic of the rear of a TLJ version anywhere?

I am still on the fense about the helmet. I would like to see a visual tutorial on how to modify the helmet. I might wanna start over the summer.
