Hello. I posted an intro in the main Noobie thread, but figured I would do so here, since this will be my AO once I become a full member.

My name is Robert James Jackson. I have been known by many names, in many places, but this is my true name. My friends call me "Robb", "RJ" or "Jax". My enemies call me "trouble" and other names less suitable for this medium. I have experienced 62 years of life - love History and science fiction - and spent 30 of those years utilizing my love of sci-fi to time travel to various eras where I; served in a Roman Legion, served during the reign of Louis XIII and XIV, was in Salem Village, served in the Seven Years War, was at the Boston Massacre, the Boston Tea Party, Lexington and Concord, served aboard the USS Constitution, served the Union during the American Civil War, Rode with the 7th Cavalry at the Battle of the Little Big Horn, and served both Allie and Axis during the Second World War.

I have been a fan of Star Wars since the very beginning, which is also the year I started my career in Law Enforcement. I have since retired. I started working on a Jedi uniform several years ago, before SWTFW, but it got shuffled back to the closet to wait for me to finish other projects. I have recently decided to join the fray once again and found your site. I live just outside Wilmington, NC in beautiful Leland (The Shire of Brunswick Forest) and hope to make friends in the area.

My uniform starts with an forest tone green OT. I'll have a beige IT, chocolate brown pants, brown belt and assorted pouches; all covered by a brown Jedi cloak. I hope to have it finished is soon so I can submit it for full membership.

Until that time, I look forward to conversations here and eventually in person.

Welcome, Jax!! I too have travelled back to 1862 and participated in the War between the States!!

Now, I just inhabit a galaxy far, far away! Lovely place down near Wilmington...I'm near upstate SC..looking forward to seeing your progress!

Thanks, Al. Who were you with? I was with the 6th and 30th OVI, when I lived in Ohio. I was with the 28th Mass during the 150th.

Well, let's see. I started out with the 51st NC and then changed to the 26th NC and finished up there with the 37th...

I also did a stint a few years ago with an outfit out of Columbia, the 20th SC...

Yes, my last troops were rather local to Newberry back in August. The fall was crazy time for me and I could not get away for any troops with TLJ...ugh.
