Good morning friends, I'm Stefano from Italian Base and after my Waxer clone armor, I decided to build a generic Jedi of the clone wars period.
I've read the standards, and I'd like to ask you about some fabric I'v seen, considering the aspects of texture and color.

I'd like tu use grey for tabards and obi, but I'd prefer to choose a little darker grey tone: what is your opinion? Such colors are right for approvation?
And what about the texture?
About pants and inner tunic I'd like a color just like light brown/cappuccino like...any suggestion?

Thank you for your help!

On colour, I did come across some usage of grey in my research for my 2nd tunic. My understanding is so long it is a earth tone colour, it should be fine. Do you have sample of how dark it is?

Cappuccino colour is fine as it is pretty much earth tone.

Your fabric samples looks nice and from your description the colors sound fine. Smile Just make sure the nuances you choose match and are harmonious with each other and you should be fine.

Thank you very much for your reply!
At the moment I don't have a sample of the darker grey I wish...I know for sure the fabric is the same (the one in photograph), the nuance had to be a little darker...in my opinion the result should be harmonius!
I'm so happy, your help is appreciated!
I'll proceed with my project and I'll post updates as soon as possible.
Thanks again!
Very Happy Very Happy

So, I've got the darker grey (I attached the colour for the outer tunic and the two greys, lighter and darker): what's the better choice for you? Thanks!

If the grey is for inner tunic, visually the darker grey could be better.

My approved grey inner tunic and pants is midway between the two grey.

Thanks for your reply!
No, I choose the grey for tabards/obi, while the beige for outer tunic; so, I don't know what's the best grey for my purpose... Neutral

I think either could work. Smile With a light tunic I'd probably go with the light grey to have less of a contrast between the colors.

Hello friends!
Another question, this time about food pellets. I'm working on 3D printed models, but I'm not sure about colors: I need to paint one for each color (pewter, gold, copper, silver) or can I choose what I prefer (for example two copper and two silver)?
Thanks for your answers!

Food pellets can be any combination of the approved colors. Personally, I have two silver, two pewter, in alternating colors. You can have all one color, some of one, none of another, or a mix.

Can't wait to see how your costume turns out. Good luck!

I hope to post some pictures soon, but we have a little problems ordering the cotton gauze and some delay realizing the armors... Crying or Very sad
