The CRL says that the swiss style gaiters or anklets are accepted for the scarif marine. I have the swiss gaiters and i can barely buckle them and rather try to make the anklets. Are there any good references showing the anklets? Particularly how they are closed. I’ve seen the ones on pao but they don’t show the method of securing them around the ankle.

Thanks in advance

That is an awesome pic! I've seen similar images from the Nissan expo but not that one showing the closure mechanism. Closest thing I had was the Disney Channel Rebel Training video.

That pic is from Baze specifically, but its clearly the same boot and cuff.

Is anyone making these? Do we have a source for the two greeblies? I was just about to start making a pair for myself, but I'd much rather buy a set from someone who is already making them to match this reference image...

To me this looks a lot like a Pilot flare holder missing several of the tubes. Is that correct, (its a rectangle) or am I missing something in the shape?

You're correct. I made mine 15.5" by 4". The length allows for some overlap.

That is a great observation. I think they are meant to be Vietnam-era signal flares -- you can see the top of the greeblie is larger diameter than the shaft at the bottom. We know that a lot of Rogue One stuff is based on Vietnam surplus, just like the original trilogy was WWII surplus.
