Victims' Rights Rally & Family Safety Fair 2019
Event Description
We are hosting our annual Victims' Rights Rally, where we host several local agency tables to provide information and assistance to county residents and victims of crime. This is done in conjunction with the Office of Justice's National Crime Victims' Rights Week. We provide free BBQ lunch to all attending, special guest speakers, balloon release ceremony, live music performances, snacks and drinks, as well as displaying vehicles and mounted units of our local law enforcement agencies. This year's theme is "Honoring our Past. Creating Hope for the Future."

We've done this event in the past. It's a pretty small event on the lawn outside the courthouse, but they do appreciate the characters and it was a nice morning. Scott and I will most likely be attending, but we've received invitations via three different groups so I don't know which costumes will be going yet. I'll most likely be there as a handler/photographer to keep an eye on the costumed folks!
