Fanboy Expo July 12-14, 2019: Knoxville, TN

Orion Knight-Star (Alex McKeel)

This is a cool convention in Knoxville and one of the guests this year is Dennis Lawson. This is the only second time he has been at a convention in the United States. So, I am wondering if the base would like a RL table at the convention?

I would be happy to put one together if other members are were attending.

I don't know if I can attend this event since it is 2 weeks after I have a Disney trip planned.

But if anyone wants pre-approved Legion Level promo materials then let me know and I will send along what I can get my hands on.

That being said, if anyone has plans on making promo materials for this they will need to also get with me so we can get Legion approval for them.

Talked a little at celebration with Dennis's manager about our plans, and he likes the idea about the induction of Dennis as an Honorary Member. His Manager, suggested that I email him after Celebration, which I will next week and the manager will contact Dennis Lawson to see if he is up to be inducted into the Rebel Legion as an Honorary Member.

Also, can I get the dimension of the falcon cockpit to see if we can get the area we need?

The Falcon cockpit is 87” tall , 88” wide and 44” inches deep with an 8”’easel stand.

Alex, Denis Lawson is already an honorary legion member. He was inducted at Celebration 2017.

Now, we could make him an honorary base member.
We will need to reach out to Ashley the LPRO about the process to make sure its kosher.

I chatted with the head of fanboy, and we have been approved for the table and falcon cockpit display.

We will need be there a day early to set up. More of this to come.

that's dope news. I am trying to swing a Saturday and possibly Sunday appearance but I am still on the fence.

What is the badge situation like for the con? Do we get free or discounted badges?
