Life has kind of thrown me a bit of a curve ball and I may have to sell my lovely generic wookie. I have 16 in stilts (handmade) with a wookie workshop mask, teeth and tongue with moving jaw. I also have (not in picture) a leather bandolier that is a mix between ANH and TFA bandoliers.

The thing is I have no idea what to sell it for. Any ideas what a generic wookie is worth?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

If you are selling, then I would put a three to four thousand price to start with.

Really depends how how quick you need the money really.

When selling a buyer will need a ton of details and pictures.

good luck with the sale.

I don't know if this would be feasible, but I came on this forum hoping to *rent* a Wookie (well, Chewbacca, but I'm not particularly picky). I need it for a couple weeks in October, if you'd like to try to work something out.

Possibly more to the point for you: I decided that after spending a few days planning out what it would take to build a good quality costume myself and thinking it would be at least $2000 plus many, many hours. So I'd second chefhawk's remarks Smile

No sorry I wouldn't rent it. I live in Canada so even if I would rent it the cost to ship it there and back just for a couple of weeks rental would not be worth it.

Yes I have 180 hours into mine. It sounds like a lot but basically I just hooked hair while watching TV in the evening and it went fast. I wasn't in a hurry to get mine done so that made it quite stress free. I really enjoyed the build....maybe you should re-think making one.
