Is jarec eye coverings sith related or is a miraluka design?
I'm wanting to do an alien jedi and thought that this might be a good choice, however, I'll need to be able to see and thought some type of very dark tint (ala the stuff the mando use, which I have 6m of might do the trick). _________________

It's certainly a peculiar design. Not sure I would see it as Miraluka. _________________

Are any of the TOR eye coverings accepted for a generic jedi? _________________

Yes, full eye coverings that cover the entire eye area. Miraluka are not merely blind; they never had eyes, only empty eye sockets with flesh over them. _________________

I based my Miraluka-Mask on a TOR/KOTO-design and it was approved, but it was made to cover my glasses as well, so not the veil but more of the glasses-type design.
This are some of the screen-caps I found. As I never played the game, I cannot say, when they appear:
That's my version:
It's made basically out of plaster-fabric with some wire and the glasses underneath. The eye-cover is a black-fabric mounted on some clear plastic sheets. It's fastened on the glasses and worn basically as a glasses-cover.
The veil design should also work, but there is on all pictures I saw a part of fabric attached to the actual eye-covering, that also coveres the rest of the hair, like the veil of Visas Marr.
I didn't collect some refs for this as I know from the beginning, that it isn't suitable for covering glasses (you can always see the outline through it), but perhaps this collection might help as well:
Jarecs eye-cover seems very difficult to made. I would have no idea how to keep it in place but out of your actual eyes, as it is such a narrow stripe of fabric/whatever-it-is. _________________

thanks bookworm, appreciate the heads up and that design looks so cool. I love it great work.
But believe it I can see really well with the scarf. I might do this down the track (funding pending) but I'm glad I can use the scarf as well. _________________

I don't doubt that you can! I just meant, that the only times I saw the scarf-design it was accompanied by a veil, that covers the rest of the head too (Visas Marr type of design), so you should include that into your considerations.
Black fabric is probably the easiest to make a one-side-see-through-veil, as I used it myself. _________________

Sorry for the misunderstanding. definitely something I'll ask the LCJs but seeing as some of those reference pictures you've shown also show hair then I think it should be ok. just as long as the eyes aren't seen.
Lora, thoughts? does it need a veil? _________________

Note, that isn't miraluka headware in SWTOR. It's head armor in Jedi Knight armor sets. |

That has the right feel to it. The things that look like the SWTOR armor shouldn't be. |
