I want to make Luke's black suit in episode VIII when he's fighting Kilo. Do you have an idea of the material of his costume (under tunic, tunic and cape)?
I see correctly the belt buckle but I do not know if there are other elements on this belt.
And eventually, do you know which sewing pattern I can use?

This costume is on my wish list, so I've been collecting bookmarks.

A lot of discussion here: http://www.forum.rebellegion.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=91943&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

Hero shot with many details visible here: http://fs5.directupload.net/images/180702/r4f9huiv.jpg

The belt has no other props except for a lightsaber hook which actually disappears once he draws the saber--which is arguably diegetic under the circumstances. In terms of detailing it has raised edges that do not appear stitched, closes in the back, and the central buckle is a faux component.

No off the rack pattern that I know of is going to do it. The inner shirt is taken from his TFA final appearance and shows up at other points in TLJ, so if you browse those for his Ahch-to costumes you may find patterns that people have created. The outer tunic has the hood, then there is a "trenchcoat" outer robe that is divided in the back--that's all brand new work.

To clarify: this costume falls under the Jedi detachment, rather than the Command detachment, so you might get more responses posting in that area.

Baris is correct. I'm moving this thread to the KJO forum. Smile
