Character Description
Din Djarin, commonly known as "the Mandalorian" or "Mando" for short, was a human male Mandalorian foundling who worked as a bounty hunter during the New Republic Era. With his beskar armor and distinctive mask, Djarin was both well-equipped and enigmatic—a stranger whose past was shrouded in mystery. He was a battle-hardened warrior, a man of few words, and a formidable mercenary in an increasingly dangerous galaxy.

I haven't logged in for a little bit and just saw a response to my question about the crl. Been deep in the details on the bhg forum helping flesh things out as I revise my own beskar gear. If you guys need a had with anything, please let me know! I've got a lot of show images along with files patterns and my current v1 wip.

Wait a minute...
To quote Han: " I'm out of it for a little while and everbody gets delusions of grandeur"...
Well, not delusions of grandeur but, what? Almost two years ago you people didn't want to make Qi'ra enter the Rebel Legion, and now you are considering The Mandalorian? A bounty hunter? A MERCENARY?
Please, somebody explain me this... _________________

Docking Bay 94 takes a number of a characters who are involved in less than honorable activities. I received information that this character would be accepted and I started a Costume Standard for those who might be interested in this build.
I was not involved in the Qi'ra decision, as it was made before my time, but I'm happy to discuss your concerns privately. Feel free to PM me.
In the meantime, I'm going to request that we keep this thread on topic for compiling costume resources and building a standard. If you have information to add for costume details or costume photos to share, please do so. I would love to make some headway on this Standard. _________________ Docking Bay Commanding Officer

I'm glad this is being looked at. I will say there has been some back and forth on the subject of color on the suit. The stuntman who wears the suit, who I believe said he is colorblind (?), says is gray. Someone who works on set and has inspected the suit for us says it is brown. Could be another Han Solo Hoth jacket debacle but throwing that out there. _________________ Community Member of the Year 2019

It's a purple ish brown grey. Pantone 440c is kind of what we've been leaning towards. It looks more brown in persion, but is still a member of the grey family. It color shifts in different light as well, very similar to the screen used suit. I've done a rit dye formula I shared in the madno groups on FB that has been reproduced and rpetty close in color.
We've been helping on the bhg for the 501st detacment crl and it's pretty dang close. If you need assistance on this, please let me know. |

I’m interested to see how his story will arc, particularly where he and The Child end up.
Let’s not forget that Han Solo was a mercenary, too _________________ Have you ever danced with the krayt dragon in the pale moonlight? |

SO looks like this is at a stand still. I am currently working on this costume for the mercs and for my own siggles. What all do we need to do to get the ball rolling here? I have never been involved with creating standards before. |

Would gladly tag team with you if you wanted and they wanted. Between your ch1 work and pulling the differences with the beskar and the 501st draft crl we could knock it out pretty quick. |

Sounds good to me, if they give us the go ahead, we could definitelly put it together pretty quick. |

I’d love to help out as well. I’m very active across a few Din build groups on Facebook. Working on a chapter 1 costume myself and could definitely see the need for two standards for this one. One for chapter 1 and Beskar respectively. |
