Phyllis what piece did you use on the side of the bottom box? Was it an 25 D-sub Connector (end of a parallel cable) or something else? Also the handle on the top box it looks like a luggage handle from the 70's on the Endor box. The suit cases which the handle slide up and down. ( I may be having flashbacks from my childhood) Do you have any ideas?

I am not so good on the visuals....I usually have to take along a photo of the item I am looking to make and just start going up and down all the aisles at the nearest Lowes or Home Depot....
You would be surprised what these stores contain if you go up and down every single aisle and basically look at every single item..
Shocked

I purchased a gender changer(I didn't know that is what it was called, I just new it connects to a parallel port in the back of the computer) I may try the aluminum flashing. I know what you mean by going up and down the isle the hardware stores...

The small circle object on the top box is a screw cap cover and the round object is the base that house the snaps when you hammer the snap pieces together. The 4 tubes in the middle are from the Visible V8 Model engine kit and this piece looks just like it. I have yet to get one but I may have to shell out $40+ for the whole model kit. The kits are all over the bay. The kit comes w/ two sets of these so when I obtain a kit if you know anyone who can make it out of a mold you can have the other for your Hoth pack. I think this is the most screen accurate part for the packs...compare the Hoth and Endor pics on Endor bunker you have their and it looks the the same exact piece!...Here it is!(the 4 tubes)

Thanks for the compliments, Everyone! Patience was a big key, especially when I am working on another costume at the same time. Now let me get the rest of the Endor costume finisthed! So I can get approval!

And I would not worry too much about the frame...
I am not totally convinced
that the Scout frame is the right one either...

it too is close...
but no cigar....

First post updated with:

I have someone who will fabricate a backpack Frame. Does anyone have any screen caps of the frame itself on the inner side? I am not sure how many bars go horizontal or vertical. Maybe 3 or 4 at the most. Also he uses 3/4 Aluminum. Do you think this is too thick. It will be very durable!

Any Ideas?

The Boy/Girl Scout pack frames appear to have the side vertical tubes at 3/4 inch...with the horizontal braces/tubes at 1/2 inch...

As far as a view of the backside of the pack...
I don't think I have ever seen a photo/screen cap of that...

having crummy, fuzzy, and small screen caps is about all I have ever seen...

Is their any book, reference, etc. which explains; The parts of the pack. What is used for? etc.

I am working on a project to mold the middle part of the pack(the 4 tubes) I am not sure if this had a name!

Aside from all of the information you have already seen...

one of the only other places (well...that I feel has a chance of being accurate) is here:

http://www.studiocreations.com/howto/endorrebelsoldier/index.html

and you have probably already seen this site...
