Looking good. I hope you practice the swagger as well. I keep saying that Greg (theeviltwin on the boards) is one of the best Han Solos out there just because he acts and moves exactly like Harrison Ford.

I have done alittle more work now on the TESB outfit but even got some ROTJ parts too.
I know that the duster coat is short but I can always stand behind R2?! Razz

Doing some upgrades to the "gasmask" too.. Wink

Hope to get more stuff done soon but now I need a break.

Lookie, lookie. I have an almost done tunic:

I'll be making a WIP thread about it in the jedi section, if you want more pics.

I added some extra lenght to my inner tunic sleeves in February:

I have also started on the bodice for my Ewok Village Leia:

It is by no means done, but just a beginning. Hopefully the mock-up will get done during April. Smile

I know this thread has been standing still for forever, but I never got around to updating how things went with either costume. Rolling Eyes

So, let me present the end result of my second jedi costume (where I, naturally, reuse elements from my old one).
New tunic, obi and belt, and the inner tunic approved:

I also got new pants and boots, here with the belt I usually use:

It's a bit different in design compared to my old one, but not much. I made it slightly longer in the back and also made the sleeves longer and wider. (Note: not very practical for twirling a lightsaber).

Lutetia's jedi costume, which we made together, ended up like this:

I chose to focus more on getting her second costume done than Ewok Village Leia, which has been postponed for various reasons. I did get more work done on the mock-up though.

Bodice front:

Please ignore all the very visible seamlines; it was a lot harder getting the edges right than I had thought. Razz

The project is currently on hold, but I do count on getting back to it this year.

I've posted my costume plans for 2014 here. There you can see that I'm planning quite an ambitious SW project for the later part of the year, I'm quite excited for it but also nervous since it involves learning some new skills, and quite a lot of fiddly sewing.

Speaking of handmaidens I would like to say, loud and clear, that I have extra of the red applique I used for the flamegown should others wish to make a flamegown someday. That way we can all have the same applique. Wink

I am about to start on doing a full Qui-Gon Jinn costume.
I am following SithariRogs tutorials which are just brilliant.
But I will take my own photos during the project and also post the whole project to the forum with metric system values instead of inches.
that should help others who doesn't work with inches and yards etc. Smile

I haven't posted about it here for ages, but my Ewok Village Leia is coming along nicely and I've got a lot of progress pics in my build thread.
