The rolled upper edge of each piece might be difficult to cast in resin ...
Perhaps glue the chain links onto the back of the squares, and then finish the upper edge with milliput. Sand, and then silver-leaf.

Yes, Anton surprised me with giving me a really nice lightsabre the last time we met. I've never really thought about doing a jedi outfit, but I have some ideas. I definitely want to go towards the long skirted jedi, but haven't decided much more than that.

Pics... hmm, I'll check what I've got, but it would be better if a metal or resin version was made using the real necklace as a model.

This a a pic of me from last year, before I started remaking the dress. I don't think I got any good closeups of the necklace at the moment...

And now that we are on costumes, I've not really gotten any further on remaking my Leia dress, but did do a new tunicdress for a friend. It was worn first time in Taastrup. Very Happy

Exam keeps me busy and my sewing machine has got a life of it's own, so I am borrowing a machine currently. Hope to get the money for doing something about my machine in July.

I have been busy with some non-SW stuff this summer. I ended up using the remains of the fabric that I used for my flakvest though, so I need to find some new since I want to redo the whole vest.
