Okay, here's mine. I'm an X-Wing pilot now, but back 10 years ago I built my lightsaber hilt before I even knew there WAS a Rebel Legion.

You'll love this...the gold bits are pieces from a junked tuba (I'm a music teacher). The blade emitter is the top of the valve (just removed the bit you push), and the other three rings (including bottom end) are the valve bottoms; used all 3.

Darned thing just tarnishes 'way too easy since it's steel. It's conduit piping a friend turned in a lathe.

A third way to clip the lightsaber to the belt is interesting in yours.

It is not a covertec style wheel, it is not a D-ring. The clip is ON the lightsaber directly.

I think these way could be added to the CRL as a possibility.

Even after seeing so much negative feedback about saberforge I bought one anyways, I had no problems and am very happy with my saber.

My collection that I take to Comic Cons. Fans love to try to figure out which saber goes with which Star Wars character (and sometimes which episode for the same character).

I bought the basic form, and was disappointed for the money paid. All that remains is the metal tube with the rings engraved on it (which don't even line up)
So, when I redid it, I removed the shroud and wooden cap on the back, and the dowel inside on which everything had been screwed.
I had the leather laying around from something, don't remember what, so I punched holes in it and tied it together with a lace. Planned to just cut it of at the knot, but I had such length, I bought a kid's box of beads, inspired by A'Sharad Hett.
The end of the saber is part of an old horseriding trophy from my grandfather, wanted to have something of his in my kit. Finished it of with two rubber rings :p

Had some nasty weather this weekend and my son's been wanting a blue light saber. So I let him help cut/sand/paint some PVC. And help a little with the wiring. No sound but it didn't turn out bad considering how much was done by a 7 year old and only spent less than $25 on parts.

PVC= 1" and 1.25" (various pieces $6)
set screw ($0.15)
Paint = flat black and metalic silver (used from the our excess paint)
Internals = White Led (88 lumen) with blue color disc, switch and controller stolen from a cheap LED flashlight ($5). Wire (from old phone cord)
Hardware = 1 set screw $0.10
Black electrical tape = used both on electrical work and also to make for a tight fit between some of the components. (had some lying around)
Blade = A ultrasaber grab bag ($10)

Love it, psunuc! Wish I could get my dad to help me build a lightsaber. Mr. Green

Here's my $20 hardware-store-parts hilt; would have been less but I ended up buying a lot of of unnecessary spray paint and then had to go back for the correct kind. Razz

My Genesis Ascend just arrived! Excited!

It's a stunt blade, but I am currently too afraid to try whacking it against anything. Razz

Nice saber. Smile Can't say I'm a fan of Kylo's saber, but I'd never put someone down for wanting it. Just don't try to apply with it. Wink
