First and formost, welcome to the Forums! We are unlike our counterpart and have many of our main forums open to the public. However, in doing such, we have a set of rules and regulations regarding this. To help make them easier to find, they are contained within this post. Smile

The Captain of the Guard is the go to person for diciplinary / forum rules issue. You may see this term in various places in the forums. COG for short Mr. Green

Terms of Service:

While the administrators and moderators of this forum will attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review every message. Therefore you acknowledge that all posts made to these forums express the views and opinions of the author and not the administrators, moderators or webmaster (except for posts by these people) and hence will not be held liable.

You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned (and your service provider being informed). The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that the webmaster, administrator and moderators of this forum have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should they see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered above being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent the webmaster, administrator and moderators cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.

This forum system uses cookies to store information on your local computer. These cookies do not contain any of the information you have entered above; they serve only to improve your viewing pleasure. The e-mail address is used only for confirming your registration details and password (and for sending new passwords should you forget your current one).

Forums Rules

1. No profanity. Please keep it G/PG rated. G/PG language helps to keep tempers cool if a problem or conflict arises. While club membership is restricted to adults, minors are welcome to sign up for the forums, please consider that in your posting. There are language filters to prevent this, but triggering the filters on a regular basis will not be tolerated.

2. No Flaming. Flame wars and personal attacks/inflammatory posts will be immediately locked and the parties involved PM'd. This includes no trolling/baiting.

3. Please try to keep posts as "On Topic" as possible. For example, not discuss Rebel Legion issues or any merchandise in public forums. Rebel Briefing and Legion Merchandise are the forums for those types of discussions.

4. Absolutely NO discussion of politics, religion, race, ethnicity or sexual orientation. This is a costuming forum and there are many political and religious related forums out there should you so desire.

6. No sock puppet / duplicate accounts are allowed. If you wish to change your forum name, ask a moderator. Please do not create multiple accounts. Duplicate accounts will be deleted and blatent abuse will result in banning from the forums.

7. No account sharing. Please keep your password to yourself. If you have someone else who wants to be a forum member as well, help them create their own forum account or ask a moderator for help. Purposeful account sharing to allow other people to access higher levels of the forum using your account will result in the removal of both members forum and/or membership privileges for a time determined by Base Command Council.

8. Emails and PMs are considered private. Please do not post entire emails or PMs you receive to these forums without the permission of the original authors of the emails/PMs. The only exception to this is if they are evidence in a litigation, and should only be posted in those private areas of the forum.

9. Due to the nature of our organization, we deal a lot with prop makers and armor makers. Selling of personal items and runs of items is allowed within the proper forums. When in doubt, ask a moderator. The Rebel Legion is not responsible for the transactions of any sale, so research and ask questions prior to purchasing any item.

10. The Rebel Legion Code of Conduct applies to this forum.

DISCIPLINARY ACTION: To be fair, violators of any of these guidelines will be given 2 warnings and their offending posts may be edited or deleted. The 3rd violation will result in banning for a one-month period for all forums. Severe violations such as blatant and hateful attacks may result in instant banning without the benefit of a warning. Any questions about the rules can be emailed to

These are NOT new rules, they were just floating around in various places on the forum... not always posted in an easy to find location. Please see Forum FAQ for some topic specific rules/regs.

We also do not permit users to use our forum, private message system, chat room, or other areas of our website for the purpose of advertising and/or SPAM.

If you have experienced internet advertising such as banners, pop-ups, pop-unders or other ads while visiting our site, then this is because your computer has ad-ware or spyware (collectively known as scumware) installed on your computer. Tools such as Ad-Aware, Spybot Search and Destroy, and Spyware Blaster can help remove such software from your computer.

What to do if you suspect someone in the Legion has compromised your privacy
If you believe that someone within the Legion who has access to your contact information, the first thing that you should do is check the privacy settings for your e-mail address and other contact info. If it is set to "Everyone" or "Members only," then you may want to restrict to staff members. Next you should gather all details and information you have and e-mail the Legion with that information. Here is some information to include in your message:

Your username and/or real name
If you have any idea who has violated your trust, please state who and why you think they did it
When was your private information exposed and how or where did it happen?
What the privacy setting on your information was set to at the time your information was exposed

If you have an idea on making this forum better, please PM me your thoughts. Its currently a work in process. It will eventually be moved out to be its own forum versus a subforum of this one.
