On August 13 Rebel Legion/501st member jedimika/4460 and 501st member TK-Tim/4267 took part in the 2nd annual Morgan County Cops for Kids Star Wars Day in West Liberty, Ky. The Morgan County Cops for Kids is a program with the goal of buying Christmas presents for local underprivileged children. This year the event was moved indoors to the local movie house and organizers set up a mini carnival with activities like dart tosses and raffles with a Star Wars flavor, with the Rebels and Imperials making an appearance to pose for pictures, accept hugs and autograph requests and even participate in some of the games. The crowd was smaller this year but very loyal. They arrived early and stayed nearly the entire time. It was a very fun and heart warming day and well worth the trip.
