I am planning on making Breha Organa's gown for CVI and wanted to get some opinions on some fabric I found that could work for the brocade-style outer dress. I am hoping to order the fabric soon, and I have had trouble deciding which one is the closest match.
Here is her dress:
And here are the fabrics I found:
Fabric 1:
Fabric 2:
Fabric 3:
Fabric 4:
I am leaning toward the first one, but the third one is close in terms of the pattern. Any opinions/input is greatly appreciated |

The first one is really a close match. The third one looks pretty close as well. All the selections are great though. Where did you find your fabric choices? |

wonderful fabrics! I've been looking a bit at this costume, but finding the right fabric scared me off - where did you find this? _________________

Absolutely the first one. That is some gorgeous fabric, and it looks the closest if you ask me. _________________ "Training to become a Jedi is not an easy challenge ...

Defo number 1- the pattern looks spot on.

The first one looks very good. It's such a beautiful costume. _________________ DXO of Royalty & Senatorial detachment

Thanks everyone
I thought that the first one was the best match, but was having trouble deciding for sure. I will update this as I make progress
I found these fabrics here: http://www.puresilks.biz/store/ |

There are a TON of Breha photos from FIDM if you need more references/some close up shots:

I must be blind because I absolutely cannot find the fabric in there - lots of other nice things though _________________

Oh, if I can make it to CVI, I'd LOVE to have you pose in this gown with the Princess Leia reborn I'm going to be making (a reborn is a doll that is painted and rooted so it looks like a real baby). _________________ ~Mieal |

What kind of fabric does everyone think the solid blue of the under skirt and sleeves are made of? It seems to be a bit different than the brocade-like material of the tunic and upper skirt. |

Definitely the first one. The blue underskirt looks like a blue shot through with gold fibers in terms of color. It's got that iridescent quality to it. |
