Hi people,
I would like to ask, anyone knows how to make or get that pike that Madine is holding during the briefing? I have the costume accepted, but this is just that final touch that would really make the costume complete
Thanks and MTFBWY! _________________

Well, i thought of using an old TV controler for the "body" and adding an miltary antenna...painting everything white and maybe write some aurabesh on the buttons. Maybe also use some LEDs...
Not THAT movie accurate, but cheap and spacy.
The movie command stick only shows two large buttons, I think.
You could try to make the body from wood, adding two electronic "turning buttons" (as used on a potentiometer); also the stick could be made from a wooden rod...not that difficult, I think.
And yes, the Madine costume NEEDS this command stick! _________________ Okami Dai

I made mine from wood- using a doll rod for the stick and the main body small wooden rolling pin I found at JoAnn Fabrics. I cut the rolling pin handles off and sliced part of the remaining cylinder, then rounded all the edges. I painted the body and stick white and added clear coats over that. I drilled a hole into the body and the stick fits snugly into it.
I added 3 silver buttons to my "body', as there's no photos showing the whole thing.
There are 4 silver stripes on the bottom of the stick. I used silver reflective tape for those, guessing on width and spacing based on photos. |

added a small dowel to the end(left over leg flare from my x-wing)
