501st Legion is all about the armor.
I am AMAZED at the work you're doing here. If and when you guys start offering these kits, I'll be highly interested in where they go. I have a hunch you'll be beyond my price range, but it might be something to strive for.
Assuming the fiance let's me bring another suit of armor into my already cramped home.

Here's some photos of the back we got machined this weekend...
Here is a shot of the chest and back bucks lined up with each other. Perfect.
I added probably 1-2" on the front and the back, you trim it off until it fits, then there is a rib that goes over the top and hides the seam. Should fit a range of people. _________________ "Never again suffer through the bread part of your sandwich!"

It's just strange to me. I guess because I was originally 501st only but this armor is so awesome. I really expected that the Rebel Legion would be all over it. Oddly enough, the 501st is most interested in this armor. We have a ton of interest over there but this thread is just crawling on it's last breath. |

I would say that a lot of folks are watching this in silence, amazed by what's coming into being but less vocal about posts. Not a sign for lack of interest, maybe just for commentary. Also, these suits are new, so the costume approval people may just be watching with tears in their eyes saying "OH GODS...another cosutme to study!"
Wait until you get closer to a completed suit, THEN I'm sure you'll see this thread go nuts. If not, then hey; the RL may suddenly have an influx of 501st folks since the armor is decidedly "good guy only". (Can't use this for the Havok Squad Defectors, as that's a different suit)
The detail on these molds is amazing....

OMG..... That armour is awesome!!! Ok, Interest peaked for me, what's the cost to get one done complete? Head to toe? I was thinking of doing a Rebel Sniper, but that looks WAY better. I have already stared on my Sniper rifle, so, might as well use it with this one too. Let me know what the cost is!! |

Lots of discussion on the 501st pages including accessories on the three different kits that I know of.
I just posted here today with my build. My feeling is that this is just the beginning of the SWTOR armors. I know that there is interest in the Imperial Trooper that is from the game. The detail of these armors to me is incredible.
The Shae Vizla and Hydra Bounty Hunter armors I am betting become even more popular.
Just my two cents.

We might crank out some other armor sets after this depending on how this is received but that's undetermined.
We're just excited about how this is coming out so far. We were able to get the helmet into a mold tonight. We should have some interesting stuff to look at shortly.
We were able to crank out some of the detail parts for the gauntlets tonight. The actual gauntlets will be CNC'd tomorrow night.
We also hard-coated the back armor buck tonight. We will be sending the chest and back for some test pulls tomorrow.

Hi guys. We've been getting pm's about releasing items individually. I don't think we will be selling any armor items separately. The detail parts will come with the armor.
We're trying to keep it very simple for us to keep track of parts. Sorry.
The only parts that will be sold individually are:
Helmet
Shield Generator Bandolier (with belt and pouches)
Knife Bandolier (with belt and pouches)
Ammo pouch Bandolier with hip pouch (with belt and pouches)
Holster and Flare Pistol with waist belt
Rifle
Helmet Monoculars
Sorry again. We are going to try to keep this as simple as possible for ourselves. We both have more than fulltime jobs. It will get too complicated. |

Excellent choice for customizing each armor. I hope to see some of the items to select. _________________ www.rebellegion.com.ar - https://www.facebook.com/cruzdelsurbaseRL |

Test Pulls! We will be drilling the vent holes in the final bucks but for now, we've allowed for loss of detail to test fit prior to molding and casting the hero. This is mainly to determine the difficulty in removing the buck from the pull.
Looks awesome and the 1/8" plastic makes this super rigid.
