Thanks. Again, the yellow tape will not be on the final build as it's not canon.
We currently have 12 people in our initial build group that has been drawn from the 501st. We are based in Southern California. If any of our brothers/sisters in the Rebel Legion wish to get in on the initial build, please let me know. I can give you further details via pm. |

Comming along very nicely. Love your updates. Very organized. My armor is in almost every room of my house while I work on each piece. LOL. |

Those are some beautiful pictures coming through. Love the game and design of this armor, and am very much looking forward to seeing your version completed. |

Thanks so much. We've still got a long road ahead but we're definitely getting there. |

I know this is off subject. We just finished the faceplate for the Sith Acolyte. It is the Sith character from the same cinematic trailer as this Republic Trooper. Came out really well...

That Sith Acolyte mask is sick. The Dark side is definitely more seductive...lol. _________________ Do or do not...there is no try. |

LOL. That's all we're doing! Both of these projects are being done at the same time. We've been doing both projects for the past 6 weeks. We are moving on to the Sith Armor next. |

We are currently machining the hand backs and the elbow armor for the Republic Trooper. I'll show you some progress pictures tomorrow. |

We rotocast the first helmet tonight. It's about 90%, we didn't use quite enough material unfortunately, and there's a little bit of pitting at the seams. The next one will be perfect.
I'd say the most exciting thing is that it fits us both with no modification, if it didn't look so good.

As Stormleader posted above, we finished the mold of the Havoc Squad Republic Trooper this weekend. We made the first pull. We were a tad short on material that we used since this was our first attempt. It came out but we ended up with a little pitting on the seamline. Still, not bad. The mold is perfect. Very happy about the mold.
I love it when a plan comes together.
We will be cranking out the molds of the visor and then these will be made available.
As for the fit of the helmet, it fits beautifully. It's just large enough to get my giant head into. If you have a larger head, you'll need to trim a tad more from the bottom return.

We ran out of legos so we had to make the mold with wood. We climbed up a really tall ladder to pour the silicone too. |

We finally had a few minutes to cut the visor area out of the helmet test pull. The visor is going to be molded this weekend. Then we'll start cranking these out.
