Yup, you have to love this armor. I am also building a Havoc Trooper from the game SWTOR. It’s a work in progress but I am having a blast working on it. Below are some photos of the armor I have been working on.
Comments and suggestions are welcome.
Thanks,
Paul

In the game there are Havoc Troopers with armor this color and the Havoc logo on the helmet and/or armor.
But, it's probably not acceptable but I knew that when I started.
Thanks for the compliment.

It might be if you can get enough screen-caps and document it. _________________

The paint job is looking great so far! I really like the blue color as well. I can't wait to see the whole thing together and blue. _________________

Just another small update. I decided to make this paldron for the cross chest belt that I have ordered.
First, see the Havoc Squad logo on the armor?
It is actually a two piece pauldron. I will get a better picture of how the upper part and lower part go together.
Comments? Thoughts?

Well, just finished painting to see if I like the design from the blue helmet in the game. I have not buffed, detailed, or airbrushed the helmet at all yet. Just wanted to get an idea of what it should look like.

That really looks outstanding! What armor is that? It really looks great. Are there multiple paint schemes for this costume? |

That is BEAUTIFUL.
I WANT ONE.
Also, can you post an image of the armor look you're re-creating? Or are you free-forming the paint job? _________________

Yes, it's a paint design from the game. I have shots of it at home but here is a yellow one I found on the interweb. It has slightly different plating on the sides and back. I have considered making that from scratch. Notice the Havoc Squad logo on the helmet and shoulder.

In the game, as commander of Havoc Squad, you progress through different armors. The armor from the trailer is not exactly the same in the game. All armors can be any color that is based off of the chest piece. I have only seen black, blue, orange, yellow and red in the game that bear the Havoc Logo. |

Ahhhh, and that's what I thought. Yeah, the armor from the "Hope" trailer isn't exactly the same as the armor you get in game. You can even see that the visor on the helmet you have is different than the visor in the screen-cap. The in-game visor wraps around the head, where the one from "Hope" is more Commander Cody-like.
Not sure it will be Legion approvable like that, but who cares. It's gonna look awesome. _________________

Another small update. I played with the airbrush a bit tonight and tried to cut a visor (still needs work) but thought the helmet looked a bit better than the pictures above.
