Hey Rebels
I'm building my ANH Tusken and it's time I post some wip pics.
I still have a lot to do but i'm working on it every day to get it finished up and start trooping.
I made my belt and bandoliers and i'm working on my gaffi stick and rifle.
My ordered my mask kit and i'm waiting for it to arrive.
I just made the robes last night and haven't weathered them up yet.
I still have a lot to do but here it is so far.

You will need wrapping on your arms and boots. Rule #1 of Tuskens and Jawa: No skin must be seen. |

Thank you David and Ryan!! You are both a big part of the reason I wanted to join the Rebel Legion!
Ryan, I applied to the Carida's Imperial Academy but still haven't heard back from them yet. |

I've been working on the head the past two days. After a couple of mistakes I finally got the mouth looking right. I'll post some more pics soon. |

Thanks dude, means a lot! Just checked, you've been accepted to the Academy as Marty Miller's cadet...he knows his stuff [you've probably seen him around as Chewbacca] best of luck! We're all here to help in both Legions. _________________ This Jedi has served on 286 missions and counting!

I just want to start off by saying I love the robe pattern, I'm assuming its a prequel tusken since its only the one robe? The color looks white to me, you mentioned weathering but I think you'll also need to dye it, unless its just the lighting throwing it off. _________________

Thank you Dan!!
I am going to dye the robe and all the cloth parts darker, after that I will dirty them all up! I am going to make the outer robe as well.
I heard some people say that because the Bantha riders in ANH only had the inner robe you only need one. I have no idea if that's enough to get in. Any info would be great! |

You're actually right. I'm used to the 501st standards where there are only two versions of it the prequel and the original trilogy, and I'm only really familiar with the version I have. But the rebel legion also has the Bantha Rider which seems to only need the inner robe.
The standards for that can be found here

Scroll down closer to the bottom and you'll see it. _________________

Looking good, might need to be slightly darker, but pictures can be misleading to based on the lighting. Can I ask what material you used for the robe? _________________

It is a blend of cotton, and recycled fibers. (I'm not sure if I really want to know)
It has a bit of a texture and it hangs well. It looks nice, even close up.
I think the flash might have messed with the color and they were still wet. I'm going to take some pics tomorrow to see what it looks like in the sunlight. I'll take some close ups of the material as well. |
