I haven't been approved yet, just submitted this morning, but that is what I used.
I bought them from http://www.lapolicegear.com/tough-td650hp-ultra-gaunlets.html If you keep an eye out they go on sale all the time or you might be able to find a coupon code. I paid about $52 shipped for mine.

They are really comfortable, and I have great dexterity with them. I can even type or use my touch screen phone with them on. I'll likely order a set without the gauntlet to use as driving gloves. |

@ Cajunwolfe: I think those gloves are too....smooth and soft for pilot gloves. Maybe for officers in gala uniform, but not in the cockpit, imho!
@ MisterFubar: Nice find, your gloves seem to be perfect! They look a little bit "tougher" than the above mentioned gloves...but still quite comfortable! _________________ Okami Dai

@Okami Dai: Look again, they're the same glove, from two different sources. |

I have the gloves MisterFubar linked and I rather like them. They're quite comfortable. My only complaint is that the hand part of the gloves seem a little thin which doesn't seem like it would be entirely accurate, but you don't see it when it's worn and no one else really knows, and that there's a huge seam between the hand and the gauntlet. The hand part is really thin and the gauntlet is really, really thick so there's this big ugly seam between the two, not a smoother seam like you usually see. But, again, you don't really notice it in pictures and stuff.
Still, I paid a lot less than what's shown on that website. I think I paid around $30-ish for mine... But that was about two years ago... _________________ B-wing Pilot - Jedi - Resistance X-wing Pilot - Temmin "Snap" Wexley

Really? Hm, can´t see this.
For my old eyes the "motorcycle gloves" seem to have a less thick leather compared to the "lapolicegear" gloves. But maybe it´s only because the gloves are presented in different ways...
And in case that ARE the same gloves - take the cheaper ones! _________________ Okami Dai

Leathermystics areok, good for peoople with small forearms. I own the D650s. I had the LMs and sold them. The cuff is short and very tight on my arm. I had to stretch them to get it over my TIE commpad.
The stock of Holdens from the UK depleted. I am currently working with a vendor to get both Legions a screen accurate glove, but this is some months away. |
