If anyone is interested I have designed princess Leia's defender sporting blaster so it can be printed on a 3D printer:

You can download it from here:

http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:226014

If you do not have access to a 3D printer, I will print it for you for $35 USD

You can order them here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/175731447/princess-leia-defender-sporting-blaster

thanks

April

Well, you can use an online service like Shapeways, or find a friend/local business that has one.

This blaster looks absolutely fantastic! 3D printing is totally going to revolutionize costuming as we know it.

So like I said in my first post I will print all the parts for this for $35, postage to the USA will be around 13.70. All you will need to do then is glue it all together, sand and paint.

That is very nice. I was just looking into building one of these the other day and was trying to find a suitable airsoft/toy base to start it.

You just might be getting an order from me soon.

I had someone print your blaster. It was easy to put together and it looks great. Thanks for posting the files.

Just ordered the parts, thanks for doing these!

I'll likely convert mine down to the Endor blaster, that will be a fun little project. =^.^=

nice of you to share this!
I would have to order it from you to get it printed, but I live in sweden and wonder if it will make it all the way home, so to say (being a "weapon" and all). Anyone who can guess?

and when you print it out, how long does it come out to be? Smile

EDIT: Just checked out the ETSY link, sorry to bother with dumb questions Wink hahah (read first, ask questions later)

Thanks for the file. When I get to print it, I will post a follow-up. My wife is into the idea of various Leia's, but time is an issue. So while she works on the fabric side for us, I work on the prop side to help encourage the process.
