hi everyone, this is my snowspeeder costume.
First, pics of the helmet.
Base on real APH-6B i bought 6 yaers ago. We decided to finish it this year ^^

(sorry for bad quality)

My dad make a new system to fixe the visor (richie's armor) because original visor was broken.

the wood parts are not exactly accurate, I lost original metal part (i'm stupid i know), but i think they're good enough.

Merci ^^
Cummuler 2 assoc je sais pas si ça va le faire, surtout qu'on fait les même conventions (migennes cusset, macon etc...).
Faudra voir Wink

My jacket.
It was made by a friends.
(link to her website: http://angelsewing.fr/ )

we relied on this pic for jacket aspect

For me jacket fabric it's a raincoat fabric but hard to find in France, so we decided to take fake leather. It's close to this picture (for aspect).

Just pic with my flightsuit (unmodified yet) and my hoth boots (not finished)

I had weathering effect (more realistic)

A few pics with my old flack vest (i have to make another one more accurate). My chest box is a prototype, i have to change some things, remove small part to the bottom, change button and repaint all the box...

Flight suit finished coming soon

Looking pretty good there. But just an FYI, unless you're doing a Luke snowspeeder pilot, you'll need to remove those rivets from your flak vest. Luke was the only one to have them, and that was only in Empire Strikes Back.

One other thing I forgot, the black buckle on the back strap of your chestbox will need to be removed and replaced with a silver metal slide. I figure it's good to tell you now before everything is finished... Smile

If you are doing a Luke snowspeeder pilot, you'll probably have some problems with that chestbox. Mainly the colors. You have red, green and blue squares above your "switches" on the chestbox, but Luke only had white and blue. And the hose connector to your chestbox also will need correcting, the hose should connect into the chestbox and not have some other kind of connection.

Don't worry, I know. Yes I have to re paint all the chest box and change the buckle. My flack vest and chest box are parts of a old concept costume i made few years ago I reuse this part for the moment. Lot of work to have a accurate costume Wink
I have to make my ejection harness, i found a site for harness fabric, flack vest and chest box buckle.
Is everything goes well, my costume should be finish this summer (or just after the summer)
I can't wait to have your opinion.

update
belt (pouches and holster)
The original was black (for a old costume) and I tint in brown.
I think it's not bad

First step for comlink

i finished to tint my old black belt

Too many pouches, i think i will wear it like that

It's not full accurate but it's ok for the moment.
I will do another belt (not pouches) later with accurate buckle and hook for lightsaber.
