For sure no required contacts. Smile I am not even required to wear them with my Palpatine in the 501st. They are a medical/health concern and a risk (minor) to wear.

Yeah totally agree about the contacts. I did put them in the optional list. I agree with you Dawn about the helmet or wig being one or the other. I know the wig is easier to get/make but I still think the helmet is essential for the costume. Even if (like me most of the time) it's just carried around. As far as wearing helmets without taking them off a lot of costumers do that. Mandos, Stormtrooper, and Vaders do it all the time so I don't think it's too farfetched to think someone might do that with this character.

Oh wait. formal is different from optional huh? I'll edit that part. Thanks everyone! I'll switch the title.

Somebody suggested I add some of the references to the Visual Guide here so I went and grabbed a bunch of pics from whatever I had.

I also made a new and more accurate Range finder for my helmet. It still functions and looks awesome!

EDIT in the Costume requirement. As stated in the visual guide the insignia on her left shoulder armor is an Anooba. In Filoni's blog he says "Marrok" which is the name of Embo's pet Anooba.

I have nothing to add here, other than to say I am really enjoying your work in progress and how you are taking advantage of limited exposure of the character to make your costume. Awesome work!

One interesting thought might be to make one of the two required.

Either the wig OR the helmet

I wish we had more episodes to know just how detrimental that helmet will be.

This I would be super interested in knowing. Yes, I am toying around with a Sabine costume, but I am really not a helmet girl. I just love being able to talk to kids too much, so I'd probably never wear the helmet, but go for the wig instead.

From what I've seen in the first episodes she spends just about as much time without the helmet, as she does with it, so... SUPER interested in knowing if the helmet could be optional if you have the correct wig instead Smile

My daughter is very interested in (me) making this costume. DO you have any details on how you did the gun belt?
