We are planning a Saturday evening dinner with Peter and Angie. We can't do it at the hotel, so we are looking at local restaurants near the hotel. We need a head count for a reservation.
This is a separate thing from what the con has planned Friday night. This will be just a nice Garrison dinner with our special guests. So folks who aren't going to the con are more than welcome to come. _________________ Anna Mitchell

Count me in for the dinner. I am glad we are doing something outside the con. _________________ "Why, you stuck up,..half-witted,..scruffy-looking,..nerf-herder!"..."Who's scruffy-looking?"
It's been a while since I've "suited up" and since I heard that last years con was a lot of fun, I'll check to see if we have anything planned that weekend. I've only ever done multiple days of a con for Celebration. I think I'd like to give this a try for all 3 days. And, just like for Air-n-Scare, I don't mind, and even enjoy "manning the table".
Also, if needed, I could take part in the soft parts panel. And I like the Tales from the troops as well. Cool idea! Who came up with that?
I'd also be interested in any of the goings on Friday night and the dinner with Peter and Angie. I think that would be a blast!
I hung out at the table most of the last con except when I was changing costumes or attending a panel. Will likely do the same this time around. _________________

That being the case we will make sure you get one of the volunteer badges.
****This kinda goes for everyone interested or planning to attend: Keep an eye out once I will post up a separate thread for the volunteer badges. Just so we can keep things straight.***

I am also willing to help out with things ( Tables, Pannels, ect.). Off the top of my head I am pretty sure that I can stay till around 10 pm on Friday and just about all day on Saturday. Due to finances I won't be staying over night at the hotel but will come back to Hampton on Friday night, and see you all again Satrday morning.
F.Y.I. I can stay latter than 10pm on Friday if I am helping out with the dinner.
Do we know anything about the schedule yet (i.e., which panels occur when)? Would also like to attend the Meet the RL panel but since I won't get into town until probably midnight Saturday A.M., I will miss everything on Friday. Will definitely be spending the majority of my time Saturday and Sunday there in RL mode, though. I most likely won't have any other costumes. Same for my husband although I don't know which panels he would like to do. _________________

No schedule as of yet, at last report they were still pretty wide open on needing panels period, so if they wind up with a lot of last minute panels we might just get choice scheduling.
We will have to wait and see.
I don't expect a schedule to be formed until a week and a half before the con. _________________ "So this is how liberty dies... with thunderous applause..."
I'll be coming down from Fredericksburg on that Friday. What time does the con start that day, or rather, what time do I have to be there? I just need an idea about what time I'll need to leave in order to get there at a good time.
Also, what time does it shut down on Sunday? My wife and I may drive down in separate cars if need be. We'll be staying at her parents' house in Chesapeake.

It kinda starts by about 3ish on Friday though early arrivals on Thursday can get their badges by midnight I think. (If you're purchasing one, we'll have your badge if you get one of the volunteer badges) _________________ "So this is how liberty dies... with thunderous applause..."
