I am super excited for this as I just have not been able to bring myself to costume as a teen, nor as Shaak Ti from the movies or TFU (though my avatar is of me in the latter Wink )

Montral and lekku are very hard to wear with full robes, also to glue in place the edge sits right on my hairline which is quite high. So I am just so excited by this project you have no idea!!!

Right now I am altering a set of Shaak Ti montral to reshape and remold. And asking my product supplier if they have a product that will make life super easy and make for very durable sets of headpieces Smile

So I thought it easier to just put all the screencaps here, these include all the concept art pieces that flashed by as well as slowly panned across. They should also be available as full 1920X1080pxl wide PNGs for as much definition as I could get.

Looking at my headcast and lekku molds I'm wondering if I should strain my clay and build totally anew... hmmmmm..... I might just I can pop a foam wig on my dummy shoulders to try and

A few hours with paper taped around my leg and I have the start of a template.

Next step is to template the gauntlets and chest- though all of these pieces will be wet formed leather so will be shaped mainly through that. Smile Hooray for people not taking me up on my bulk cheap leather offer Wink

I've had a few queries, it honestly depends on product cost and shipping options and if people are willing to cover that.

http://www.forum.rebellegion.com/forum/search.php?search_author=neimhaille you'll see a thread you can see current estimations in Smile

I have a clay base! Just need to get more on there. It's a cooler day so kind of ideal. I can heat the clay and it'll set quite quickly. I think my heat gun is a bit... well perhaps broken.

I wasn't sure what she would be under so I put my thread here as we don't know how far her influence goes- but suspect we'll know seen in season 2 Smile

Day off. I spent 4 hours as Elsa yesterday for a huge cummonity of kids. ANd I heard I did a really good job with the children, so that made me so happy. It wasn't about wearing the sparkly frock it was about engaging with those the event was for Smile

I now have the luxury of an A3 printer/scanner! It turns out I scaled slightly bigger in the print behind, it's a bit hard to get a perfect scale but I went by pupil to pupil and pupil to jaw, and it matches my cheek width as well.

This was about two hours of moving 6 pounds of clay ever so slightly more vertical and yeah. But it's working and I have enough clay to get tentacle stumps.

I'm just sorting my files on my harddrive as I can't make any more thumbnails. Whoops. But I did get in progress photos of the work today which might explain why it takes to long to work with the stuff Smile

I've got the full sized prints at a better scale, and so far the sculpt matches so now it's a case of making sure it's tidy enough to start readying it for molding Smile

Thank you Smile

Started making the actual headpiece Smile It's a bit fragile but will work so long as I am careful Smile Should have the headpiece made in a few days Smile I may fun out of latex so that may have to be my next purchase.

Yes, ran out of latex! Whoops Smile But I need some anyway so I've put some stabilising layers in place but I should nearly have it at the ready to be seen stage Smile

Still looking for a good knit for her leggings. I want something that is relatively durable but not so durable so as to make the faux suede look thin.

Epic fail with the montral! I left them while travelling and they warped in a way that I can't repair. that's fine, I think I can figure something else out Smile But I did pick up some fabric for a bodysuit and her sleeves Smile

I think I can rescue the montral Smile I just cleaned up the positive cast I made of the sculpt so I can either cast over that or build up with more clay and make a negative mold.
But in the meantime I bought something to help skin the set I made Smile

And thank you Smile I also bought some sturdy lycra to make her leggings out of SmileI may make it a full bodysuit so to make sure everything sits well. I've just gone on a black fabric cutting spress so I can set my overlocker up and just go. There are a few projects I want to work on that require different threads so I want to get to them too Smile Rethreading isn't too bad but it is when you are switching daily Smile
