Saturday Luncheon
volunteers are welcome for Saturday luncheon. We need a head count for the deli luncheon by May 1, 2015. If any member has special dietary needs, please include what your dietary restrictions are.

Two free weekend badges included with the tables (501st gets 2, RL-2, and Mercs-2). Ideally it’d be for whomever is going the POC and responsible for the group.

Since I am unable to fit the table supplies in with my DJ equipment in my vehicle I have went ahead and allowed Anna to sell the table she had reserved for us to a vendor.

We'll just attend in costume if available, I'm hoping I might be able to squeeze mine into my luggage. Have to see.

I will see anyone there for sure though at the dance parties!

Well after discussing it with Anna at Tidewater ComicCon, before I made the call on it, she felt it could be better used by someone paying for it, it'll help with the first year expenses.

Once Terrapin base said they didn't want to do it (since its their territory), it fell back to Freedom, we've only had 1 other Freedom member besides myself signed up to attend since this was put up in April.

Freedom doing table was an afterthought being I was attending and Terrapin decided they had too many other Cons to be at. Once my transportation got a bit more complicated I checked in with Anna, who said she could really put the table to a more profitable use for the convention. So I gave it back to her, in order to help the convention out.

Hopefully it will help ease some financial pressure to help ensure CapitalCon will return for a second year, and I'm sure Anna will be more than willing to give us a table again.

Well I just saw the news on Facebook, I do not have the details as of yet, but Capital Con has been cancelled.

Bit of a bummer I was really looking forward to it but hopefully they will get things back together in time for 2016!
