ok....
well...
next step...

you will need to suit up...make sure everything is straight and neat...
stand in front of a plain background....

and take some large pixel photos...

make sure one photo is your "action shot".....that will be the first photo that gets uploaded directly to the Rebel Legion website....

the next boxes will ask you for the additional photos for judging purposes...
you will need to copy and paste a direct link (not an image link) into those boxes showing the front, back and both sides of your costume...

make sure that all required parts of the costume can be seen....take additional photos if necessary of some of the optional pieces....

and...

to use as a checklist to make sure that everything is in order...

here is a copy and paste of the costume standard for the Endor Rebel soldier:

REQUIRED ITEMS

1. Cargo style pants – (commercial BDU in rip stop or twill is acceptable-no sewing modifications needed) spray painted in a camouflage pattern

A NOTE REGARDING CAMO FOR ALL PIECES CALLING FOR CAMOUFLAGE:
•Suggested paint colors below are “Design Master Corp” paint designations, an equivalent is acceptable- Moss Green (heavy)
•- Holiday Green (light)
•- Hunter Green (light)
•- Basil (heavy…primary color)
•- Bright Olive – (small accents)

2. A beige/tan/sand coloured long sleeve t-shirt

3. Boots:

“Desert” style combat or hiking boots. Canvas/Natural upper Target Color: “Sand” FS 33531/RAL 1011 “Brown Beige”; Molded sole, with thick “lug” tread. The sole continues up over the front ½”/12mm of the toe. The original “Sierra” brand boots are long out of production; however there are Israeli Scout Commando Boots that are very close in design and can be either purchased or used as a reference.

4. Gaiters:

A tube of heavy Cotton/Natural fabric starting from the bridge of the foot (covering most of the laces) continuing up past the boot top to slightly below mid-calf. 5-8 sets of eyelets (depending on your measurements). No clear photos of the laces have been found yet; most likely surplus olive-green “para-cord” was used. Color: The originals appear to have been made from a tan or sand material, but were so heavily dyed and painted to appear used they look dark brown or olive when actually seen on screen.

5. Helmet:

Consisting of an AN-H-15 cloth helmet (or replica) with a ribbed strip on the top, a replica rigid outer ring, and cloth bill

6. Olive Drab Belt with pouches

7. Short, light-colored leather work gloves

8. The following combinations are acceptable for formal for the upper torso in addition to the tan long sleeved shirt:
•A camo painted trenchcoat – camo paint should be applied to a tan trenchcoat, if tan trenchcoat/lab coat can not be obtained, you will have to dye trenchcoat/labcoat tan first and then camo paint.
•A camo painted snow jacket – camo paint must be applied to a tan base. Since snow jackets are by nature white in color, you must dye jacket tan first.
•Accurate capped sleeve vest with slash pockets and padded applique on right upper chest.
•Accurate capped sleeve vest with slash pockets and padded applique on right upper chest worn over a camo painted snow jacket.

9.Formal Requirements – choose one:

(Unless local laws prohibit or strongly discourage carrying anything that looks like a firearm)
• E-11
• DH-17
• Endor rifle

Optional Items:

1. Web bandolier with replica accessories
2. Canvas military-style backpack-no nylon packs-screen accurate is two pocket pack.
3. Endor hardpack
4. Vest accessories such as rank badges and wrist comm.

I am starting my costume and I would like to know if anyone has the dimensions for the rigid outer ring (donut) as I will give it a go at doing it myself. Thank you guys! Alina.

I don't know that there is a cut and dry measurement as all heads are different and some hard outer rings are more oval (head shaped) and some are more round.

Loojs good from what I CAN see, but i would like to echo the need for straight, neat photos. I cannot tell the shape of the pockets on your vest from these photos.

Alina to answer your question we have Commando helmet makers who make them in various sizes. We rather strongly recommend not buying the Costumebase. As always, everything for the ERT is in the RAID forum.

Did you get the e-mail from the judge re: the autograph on the back of your hard helmet?

I don't blame you if you don't want to paint over it....but that leaves you with purchasing a new donut...

Crying or Very sad

Yes I did and I'll keep my opinions about that to myself. I will eventually make another one so looks like I'm still stuck on "candidate" status. Thanks for your help with this Phyllis

Unfortunately...having autographs on the back of one's helmet is not approvable...
it is too bad that you didn't get the inside of the helmet autographed instead of the outside.

Since I am from your Base, I can not judge your costume...

One of our other judges has sent you a couple e-mails re: your costume and that you need to submit the costume as a human rather than a Rodian...

Have you gotten his e-mails?
