Hey folks, sorry to just drop off the map like that. Last semester got really busy really fast, and it never really let up. I happened to remember this project the other day, and I went ahead and made a couple more design tweaks to match the most recent reference as best I could. I've gone ahead and thrown the STL files up on Thingiverse, along with a couple other little prop projects I've modeled if anyone is still interested in using it.

I don't own my own printer, so for me the modeling is usually where it starts and ends. As such, I don't know how well my designs will print and what might make the process better or the end result cleaner. If anyone has suggestions or requests to make these more accurate or more conducive to printing or pep unfolds, please let me know and I'll go ahead and make the necessary changes. Hope somebody finds these useful! Very Happy

Thank you so much for sharing! downloading it tonight and going to print it. Will post pics here when its done printing Smile

Anyone tried printing this? The hollow one took about 56 hrs to print on my machine...

Also the dimension is around 18cm-ish long?

Yes, most slicers will allow you to rescale the model to the right size before printing.
Also 57 hours is a huge printing time. This model does not have too much vertical detail, so you don't need to use thin layers. I printed mine at 0,3mm layers and it looks great; and it only took about 9-10 hours to print.
