I'm enjoying watching your progress. I've already started on mask #5 (and sculpt #3) so I know the feeling. Enjoy!

Its addictive...trying to get the best looking one. The face on chewie has soo many nuances that you dont "pick up" on the first go.

I see allot of the new masks made here get better and better.

So very cool.

Have seen such great tutorials on different mask techniques that I think I might even be brave enough to attempt one for my own wookiee build.

so some more progress.

I cut out the eyes mouth and nostrils, turned it inside out and added power mesh to the mouth with silicone. This is to prevent tearing or ripping.

Painted up the lips with a blend of thinners, silicone and silicone pigment.

Bought some acrylic teeth of of Ebay for the mouth..

sculpt the gums and canines and gaps for the canine teeth. (took quit a while to get it right)

The gums will be smoothed out before casting in silicone.

waxed (10 coates) and used p.v.a as a release for the under skull.

Added clay for help wth release.

Fibreglassed over the top. (one layer thickness)

separated and lightly trimmed. New part on the right.
