Leroni,

None of the pictures are working; any chance of an update with the pictures?

Michael, I am able to see the photos just fine. I don't know what would prevent you from seeing them.

Oh. I should have realized; it's likely my employer's filters. Thanks!

Never mind, Leroni!

On the subject of the Obi, is there more than one style allowed? A "pleated" or "gathered" style, rather than just the flat style shown above? Some people's middles are concave and some people's middles are convex. I'm wondering if there is a good solution to the best fit of the individual. Also, I saw a close up of the Obi on Star Wars II (I believe) that shows Obi-wan's to be cut on the bias. This looks to me to be a way to contour to the body more readily.

Any thoughts?

Dear Orissa!
At the Moment i´m working on a Obi which you can "bind" together without the Velcro in the Back. I got the same Problem, i have got a very small waist and my Obi is too big above my waist. I am searching for a "Wickelgürtel" / (wraping belt in english?) and looking for some Patterns. If my Belt is approveable i will post the Result here!

Hello Smile

I am doing wrapping obis since i found out its much more flexible and comfortable.

you only have to make it wider than a normal obi and add some closure bands. somewhere on the side you make a slit where the closure bands can come together through the layers.

Picture

yours
Leroni
