Star Wars: The Force Awakens FREE Outdoor Movie Night!

Event Description
We are host a completely free, open to the public, outdoor movie night screeningof Star Wars: The Force Awakens on our outdoor screen, and will have an evening of live music, and a star wars costume contest leading up to the screening. The event will tale place at Roundtop Mountain Adventures, our outdoor family activity area, but access to our indoor lodge & outdoor deck will also be available. The Mointain Adventures activities require pay, but any and all spectators (and Star Wars enthusiasts) can attend this free event.

Before the film, we will be taking a free will offering benefiting New Hope Ministries, a local food bank in Central PA. Both monetary and non perishable food items will be accepted.

"We’re really looking forward to hosting you! I’m expecting costumed characters just to be milling about providing photo ops. If you guys have anything else that you are accustomed to doing I am always open to suggestions.

Be sure to inform all of your members that the festivities are taking place at our Mountain Adventures area at the Mountain View Lodge. Not sure if any of you are familiar with Roundtop, but in the winter time that is our tubing lodge & tubing area. It will be the only area of the mountain with a sizable population of cars in its parking lot."

Further information from our host:
Hello everyone!

First of all, my sincerest thank you for taking interest in our event! We are SO excited to host you all this Friday.

So a bit of a change of plans parking-wise: Due to the amount of interest we have, I have procured access to a much larger, and more private changing area for the event, but this will require you to park in a different area than I had originally planned. Please see the attached map for a detailed layout of the facility, and where you will want to go upon arrival. Essentially you will be entering through our main gate and parking in our paved lot, and NOT the Mountain Adventures area gravel lot.

As noted on the map, you will be able to change, and stash your gear in our patrol building and walk to the event area. This should work better as it is not a public area, nor accessible by our guests or other summer time employees. I will be there personally to meet you all before and leading up to 5pm, and point you in the right direction to the event area.

Concerning inclement weather: in the event of rain, we will be cancelling the event. I hope to reschedule, but for now a date is yet to be determined. This is a decision I will be making by Friday morning. I appreciate your patience, and the wonderful energy you are all going to bring to the event!
