Here is a link to some really close INNER TUNIC fabric that can be dyed the correct color.

Seeing how the original material is no longer in production, this would be a very economical, yet very close substitute for anyone looking to make an Anakin Ep. III Inner Tunic. It has a nearly identical texture.

Pretty nice texture. I believe Claudio (Custom props) uses something like this for his inner tunic.

I just finished dyeing the outer tunic fabric and it looks great! I will post some comparison pictures when I get a chance.

So here are some shots of the material in question. The white is the undyed Fabric.com material. The small lighter weight gauze is a swatch of Clothears Costumes Anakin Fabric. The remaining pictures are of the finished dyed Fabric.com material.

So for anyone who is interested in a really good source for the Anakin Episode III Outer Tunic fabric, I highly recommend this. It's really nice quality and very affordable.

The color you dyed there is more correct color than the Clothears swatch. The clothears swatch appears to be little washed out than the screen used.

As promised, here are some shots of the finished Outer Tunic set.

With the correct dye this Fabric.com material is a near perfect match to the screen used material.

I'm sold. I think you nailed it. that's the closest fabric I've seen to the real thing. (and I've seen the real thing in person). its very likely now, you've got the single most accurate anakin in the legion. hats off.

Right, you need to host the photos on another site made for photos and link them here. Smile

Try Imgur, Flickr, Photobucket or any of the other sites.
