Greetings all!

I had the pleasure of meeting some of you at our recent SLCC16. But most of you I don't know.

Just wanted to officially introduce myself to the local Rogue Base! I'm currently in the process of finalizing my Kanan Jarrus Face character to submit for approval, but the process is coming along very nicely.

After the minor updates I work on over the weekend, the only thing left I really have to worry about is my shirt, which is proving to be a pain.

Little about myself. I'm 33, work full time, and when I'm not working I'm spending every second I can with my wife and 2yo son. After I put the little guy to bed, I can be found either crafting, gaming, or reading in my spare time Smile

There ya go, Jared in a nutshell. Hope to get to meet more of you in the near future!

Thanks for the welcome!

As of right now:

Kanan Jarrus season 1, 2, 3
Generic jedi
My ownCreative version of Kanan Jarrus
Custom Mando Armor (oops, should I admit that, lol)
Obi Wan (Clone Wars Commander armor version )

Yeah.... that's long term plans obvious. Main focus is the 3 seasons of Kanan.

welcome, excited to see Kanan here locally! Now really going to have to push a certain person i know to get Kallus done.

As for custom mando, of course admit that, no shame here Wink
(of course, that might just be me, since i'm one of the few Tri-Club(or Quad, depending on what groups you count) members here)

Welcome aboard. Always a pleasure to have another jedi, especially one like Kanan.

Saw your main post, and ya look really good! I'm brand new here and I'm about 1/2 to 2/3 done with my custom mando and the utahns (The Krayt Clan) are very nice. I havnt seen any sort of rivalry.

See you around!

Thank you for the welcome, and reassurance that multi-club members aren't a bad thing. After some research, I thought attempting to make my own set would definitely be a fun and challenging experience. That and I am so used to using EVA foam, (which doesn't seem to be accepted in MM) so it will force me to attempt my hand and Sintra or something of the like. Definitely a "in the future project though" Want to get my Kanan versions approved and near perfected before I go that route!

Thank you for the welcome! Glad to be here. You know, I have a strange obsession with Kanan at this point, and I could easily say he is my favorite character in the Star Wars Universe. I liked him after watching season 1 and 2 of rebels, but after reading all the Kanan Comics, and even more so "A New Dawn". I loved him. I love the backstory, and what happened during and after order 66, and even more so his journey being shown on rebels..... The guy has been through a lot. And the writers and story group team have done an amazing job at allowing me to become emotionally invested in him lol.

Really can't wait for what season 3 holds, and am still crossing my fingers for more novels, or reading material in general Smile

Thanks Josh, I appreciate it, it was great getting to meet you all at SLCC! Really excited to continue working on my costume and eventual approval after I figure out my shirt. We found some new fabric online that I'm going to buy and we are going to try our hand at sewing again...... *Crosses Fingers*

Welcome to our merry band of Rogues. I know of a few people who will be interested to see how your Kanan costume comes on.
