Purpose of Event: The Race for Hope Philadelphia is a 5K Run/Walk that benefits the National Brain Tumor Society. Over the last 10 years, we have raised over $7 million to support NBTS' mission of research and advocacy towards finding a cure for brain tumors.

| I could go as a Jedi for sure if I had a ride, maybe on public transport. Carrying the costume on a subway and bus would be a bit of a hassle. |

Jedi garb is pretty easy to walk around in and not look odd. You could wear your robes and boots and have your belt, tabbards, and saber (disassembled) in a small bag you could carry. If you threw a light jacket on over your robes you would not even be noticed.

Google transit says you could leave at 7 AM and your transit time would be 30 minutes to the location.
Total walking you would need to do would be a little over a mile.

Yeah I do use google maps most of the time. They're pretty good at mapping public transportation. That was my alternate plan if I couldn't get a ride. |
