With the growing of 3D printing, lots of ressources : people and models, are now available for people of Rebel Legion. However, may it be those on this forum or elsewhere on internet, everything is spread accross. This topic aims to group everything in only one place, and not only available models.

The aim is also to classify everything, from people available on their skills or technical aspects, to models about their accuracy, easiness to print...

I will try to maintain everything updated but given the number of things, a hand would be welcome !
If you have ressources available, please let me know Wink

Help is particularly needed to evaluate accuracy of models.

A missing 3D model or a broken link ? Send me a private message, I will try to keep a copy of all of them on my computer, at least the ones publicly available like on thingiverse.

I will try to get a first relatively complete within 2 weeks from now. I have already lots of ressources but I need to shape all this Smile

Accurate models with small changes required to print

This section if for the models with a good design but bad proportions or size, with a size to 60% in thickness for example. Here are also models that might require to be sliced in multiples part for a good print.

Summary :

  • Jedi Training Sphere

      URL : http://pixeloz.deviantart.com/art/Jedi-Remote-2-Free-Blender-3D-Model-for-ver-2-5x-303194423
Necessary changes : Model not intended to be printed, resize necessary to match approximately 14cm diameter. Need to remove some background element in the model and to separate the nice base to print separately. Might also need to close the model and make it solid (which can lead to suppressing details of the holes).
Comments : I was able to compare it directly to the Master Replica props. Overall details are perfect.
Realisations : ABS 0.2 mm layer + acetone smoothing, 1.5mm perimeter. 3 sections, mid at 0% infill and top and bottom sections at 15% infill.
