Hasbro's Black Series Poe Dameron Helmet ( for Adults too )

It has a surround speaker system that plays X-Wing and Tie Fighter sounds. Plus, communications from BB-8.

The helmet will cost about $80 and should be available later this year.
The helmet is recommended for kids 8 years and older.

These may be adult sized. Most of the other Hasbro Black Series helmets are.

According to this picture from NY Toy Fair:

The Hasbro Poe helmet is "adult sized" compared to the on screen prop.

I was looking at a picture of a classic X-Wing helmet,
but that turned out to be a scaled Titanium palm sized die cast helmet...
No other full sized helmets are planned at this time.

And yea when I looking at the episode 7 poe helmet and you can see in this licensed helmet from prop shop which will run you 1500 dollars the "crown" or lense shield is way taller than the episode 8 helmet

Episode 7:

Poes Helmet in the packaging header that we will see on the new toys looks different in the same respect that Lukes helmet had a taller mowhawk in empire strikes back
Episode 8 packaging

That black series helmet looks almost like an exact match to the helmet poe is wearing in packaging header above:

Episode 8 black series helmet:

Not at all. We know that according to the director the First Order Stormtroopers in episode 8 were updated and look a little differently.

That's why this change to the helmet makes sense and doesn't at all surprise me.

Like I said its been done before. Luke Skywalker's helmet changes from episode 4 to episode 5. The Mohawk got thinner and taller.

I don't. I think we're getting a SLIGHTLY updated helmet. The visor housing is a little more rounded and stays closer to the helmet body. Also, in Toy Fair pics, it appears the the gizmo on the back of the helmet is a rectangular box, rather than cylindrical as in TFA.

I doubt it would affect our acceptances much since few of the helmets available to us for costume have been very close to the screen used helmets from TFA. Some have been good, but none have been perfect.

The paint job is pretty low-end (not surprising at this price point) and I'd think a repaint would be pretty mandatory.
