Event Description : Our elementary school is having their annual "winter flurry" event.

What our school does is we pay to have a few tons of snow made on site. Because of California weather, it may not seem like much, but with 50% out of 1,000 elementary age children that is consider low income it's a huge deal! Especially when such families wouldn't have a way to take their children to areas where it actually snows.

So even if we could get one or two volunteers, it would truly humble us to have such an exquisite group come out. This event is considered a "community event" lead by the parent teacher organization which means we aren't out for making money, but this event is to bring an environment to the community that may never have the chance to experience the look and feel of real snow.

How Did You Hear About Us: I've seen the rebel legion at cons and I have a few friends in as well.
