I have been with the Mercs for awhile, but finally decided to get serious about a RL costume. I really liked Baze's gritty style. I'm going to try to be as close to the screen used parts as possible. Then design the rest either 3d or physical sculpting. I found a guy that goes by "Made in Titan" on FB that had some really great reference materials.

Here is where I'm at so far. (I'll try to add pics later)

-For the jumpsuit I picked up a "AFV Crewman Fire Retardant Coveralls Khaki Beige Desert" Seems to be the same one they used.

-Belt buckle is from a Ford bronco.

-The boots seem to be the same as the rebel ground troops, so I'm just going to do a spat type thing over a combat boot.

-I have a few pieces designed, just need to tweak and reprint them.

Hello Ronan,
can you please share, where you got your suit? - there are more modifications of this suit, some are more accurate than others (mostly visible on seams which go from armpit to shoulders).

I was able to found with all proper seams ... was NOMEX (British) flightsuit

Anyway, good luck with your build - looking forward to see your progress!

The suit I got was from here. I think the stitching on the arms were added after.

Margh (Karel Škop) above was the one who had some great references. You shoud check out his links too.

I was not writing about arm stitches ... which were added after ... but about those stitches:

As I observed, in case those lines are missing, It mostly indicate suits, which are cheap, non accurate copy of original one ...

I was looking at the site and was concerned with the being billed later for extra shipping cost. Do you remember how much shipping was to the US? I'm assuming it was about the price of the flight suit I just don't want to be surprised if its more.

Ronan,

How do you plan on weathering the suit?...

I plan on wiping my engine and tires down with it and also splashing some watered down dark paints on it. That's how I do mando jumpsuits too. Works pretty well.

I am working on a Baze Malbus cosplay but I'm having trouble getting the coveralls in my size. I have 52 inch chest. All the sizes I've seen are really small. I'm trying to see if I can have one custom made. Also does anyone know where to find the shoes?[/img]

Awesome, I just started following you after i saw pics of you ate SWCO. I also have a 52 in chest and the coveralls I got fit perfectly. There should be a link above. I believe the boots are just some brown boots with a glued on spat. Ill see if I can find my buddy's template he used for Bodi. They have the same boots along with the ground troops.

A question I had for you. Are your parts printed? How did you do the neck/chest piece? Did you make the hole big enough to put your head through or make it open somehow?
