4th dye dip salt vinegar everything



no change ! what on earth thats £20 worth of Dylon

so i decided to use chemical dye

BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS YOU NEED A RESPIRATOR IT DOES NOT TELL YOU ITS TOXIC BUT I SPENT THE NIGHT IN AGONY !

So far so good :





Still to do :

wait for imperial code cylinders (ordered these a while ago)
continue designing coms device- Jyn and the rest of the team also use this device
sew on the new patches (they are stuck on with double sided tape)
Weather the flight suit
install magnifying glasses on goggles
find right style of boots
make coms device on arm
Airbursh grey and blue weathering onto the flight suit

Not rushing this as i want this to be spot on perfect

Cool! Really like how your vest turned out! How did you get the darker color of the straps and lining? Was that a primary effect of the chemical dye or did you paint those manually?

I used the same method the used for the film chemical dye, see the large pot and boiling water thats how you do it

Only used chemical dye
