Ooh, ooh, me! All kinds of interested in one of the Y-wing kits as well as any forthcoming news on project A-wing!

Okay, I am going to show my pilots idiot level now.... Embarassed

I've been thinking of doing a pilot costume for some time...don't know which one.

What is the difference between a Y Wing pilot helmet and an X Wing pilot helmet?

ok, still talking to Richie about the Y-Wing kits, no price yet, but I do have a ball park figure.

Email me at etoc630@hotmail.com for details, I'll give it a few days and then send out a group email about things.

I do have a complete price list for all his pilot gear. If you had questions about it, email me at the same addy and I'll pass the price info to you.

Things are coming along nicely!! I have a very good feeling about this!!!

Good work Ed! I am eagerly looking forward to this. Looks like next year at SWW we will have at least one complete ROTJ Ywing pilot marching. Laughing

Can you post a pic of you wearing the helmet? (Along with some measurements?

Weird question I know, but I've heard that this helmet runs way big so any info would be greatly appreciated. Very Happy

Not good at self portraits, but here it is with a Richie's XWing helmet for comparison. Not a very slight perspective difference in relative sizes.

Yeah, the RA Y-Wing helmet is nice. Not the most accurate ever, but the best (only?) available. I'm not knocking the work, it just seems to have been made with only a few reference photos available, so some of the angles and alignments are off compared to the screen-used one.

I'm working on painting my RA helmet up right now as Grey Leader - going for the most accurate paint job I can (not yet seen one with all the patterns, colours and text in the right places). I'll post pics when it's done. Very Happy

Did Richie's do the Naboo one as well? Sunrider is thinking of doing a group of Naboo pilots.

We are? Shocked

Let's just get the X-Wing Pilot project done before we start thinking about Naboo Pilots! Surprised

I guess it can't hurt to find out about helmet availabilty for future reference, though.
