Hey! Couple of questions on Leia's jumpsuit from ESB. Has anyone bought white coveralls and modified them? If so, was this hard? I'm trying to do Bespin Escape Leia before I do Hoth, as we just got a Bespin Luke in our base and we wanna Wonder Twin it up! lol Any advice on this one would be great!

I don't know about coveralls BUT I was just able to acquire this pattern and I have been told it is what most Leia's have used for this build.

I will be checking into fabric in a few weeks when I head to the LA fabric district. If I find anything suitable, I can let you know.

The fabric on my jumpsuit is DWR supplex fabric- it is made especially for snowsuits. But a lining fabric should also work very well Smile

I am not sure about modifying a jumpsuit just because you would then have to match the fabric that you are quilting to it as well as make sure all the seams are in the right places- the jumpsuit has a yolk on the back and front. I used this pattern and modified the sleeve shape for mine:
