Spotsylvania Parks and Rec. is putting on the event at Patriot Park in Spotsylvania.

Join us as we LIGHT UP the night with this galactic fun run...Then after everyone has crossed the finish line, race on over to grab your space for our featured film on the 20 ft outdoor movie screen.

Races strart at 6:00PM
Movie starts (approx.) 7:15PM

This is a kids race where they will run with anything that glows (including light sabers).

Galactic Dash (1/4 mile) ages 4 and under
Meteor Mile (1 mile) ages 5-13

The whole theme of the event is Space. They would love to have Star Wars characters for photo ops for the kids.

They are working to see if they can show a Star Wars film.

They would like us dressed and ready by 5PM to greet the runners.

I will post more details soon.
