Ghost Base - 2017/08/10 - Erie, PA - Shriners Hospital Visit

Despite the AC not working well, this was a great event.  We had a big room to change in (even if we had to maneuver between tables).

We got to meet the patients in their big waiting room.  With only 1 or 2 exceptions, the kids loved us.  We got pictures and talked with the kids, and everyone got a toy (or 2).  Some of the nurses and staff even came out to take pictures with us.  One little girl (who is one of the poster children for Shriners and has done commercials for them) talked our ears off, and showed us how good she could dance.  After telling us that Princess Leia was her favorite, her mom put her hair in side buns, and she had to take more pictures with us with her new hair style.

A big thank you to Chris for providing the toys.

Our contact mentioned inviting us back for more events in the future.
