Food Allergy Alliance of the MidSouth 3rd Annual Teal Pumpkin Trunk-or-Treat

Event Description
The Food Allergy Alliance of the Midsouth (www.faamidsouth.org) is a 501c3 public charity providing food allergy support, education and advocacy to individuals and families in the Mid-South. FAAM is run by volunteers and we do not charge individuals/families for membership or meetings/events. This is our 3rd year hosting the Teal Pumpkin Trunk-or-Treat. This is a food-free event (only water allowed/provided) due to the many life-threatening food allergies of our members. Teal Pumpkin means that no candy is handed out, we hand out toys instead so the children can participate in a fun, holiday tradition safely (tealpumpkinproject.org). Many of these children do not trick-or-treat due to the high risk of coming in contact with their allergens on Halloween. Last year, a 10 year old participated in Halloween festivities for the first time at our event. They get so excited that they can keep everything they get at the event! Please consider participating in our event, I know the children would love it (parents too). We have games from 3-4pm inside and trunk-or-treat from 4-5pm outside.
